2-12-10 Traffic Control

NWVFD Fire Police were toned out to assist City PD with traffic control due to an MVA within the city limits. NW FP assisted by diverting southbound traffic from entering the city. North Warren Units were out a total of 5 1/2 hours Friday evening.

2-5-10 MVA

Monday, February 15th, 2010

North Warren VFD was dispatched at 1648 for reports of a 2 car motor vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Rt. 62 and Commons Dr. Pleasant C-4 provided incoming units with a scene report and was assigned joint rescue operations officer with NW C-2. North Warren C-5 assumed command. NW responded with the Rescue, Engine 8 and U12. NW was assisted by Pleasant, Russell, and Emergycare. 1-31-10 MVA Jackson Run

At 2013h, NWVFD was dispatched to assist Conewango PD with a single vehicle MVA with no reported injuries in the 3500 block of Jackson Run Road. Utility 12 responded to the scene to finding a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country with moderate damage partially blocking the westbound lane. The crew of U-12 closed the westbound lane and continued traffic flow through a single lane. NW Rescue responded with 6 and deployed “Emergency Scene Ahead” signs approximately 500yards east of the incident and coned off the immediate area of the incident. Rescue and Fire Police crews remained on scene until the vehicle was loaded onto a flatbed and debris was removed from the roadway and the driveway of a private residence. Crews cleared the scene and restored normal traffic flows at 2115h and returned without incident.
