North Warren responded to 19 alarms in February. Crews responded to a job in Glade Twp with Engine 8and a crew of 6, the first on scene, and made the attack. A full crew on the Rescue joined the efforts on scene at Hatch Run while Utility 1 and several fire police delivered traffic control. NW was also dispatched to another structure fire in Lander but quick response and efforts by neighbors had the Engine and Rescue diverted to stand by at Lander base. Out of the 19 alarms, 8 were motor vehicle accidents within the township. 2 automatic fire alarms were dispatched. Also within the proper crews responded to an electrical fire on Ditmar St. and a propane leak at a local service station. Saturday, February 26 crews rolled another Hat Trick with 2 MVAs and the third structure fire for the month. While out on the second MVA of the day the tones dropped for an assist to Russell for a structure fire. NW responded apparatus from Creamery Rd. and Jackson to Fox Hill in Russell with manpower. Firefighters and apparatus from Russell, NW, Scandia, and Glade worked to extinguish a large garage.
